Going (virtually) to a community meeting tonight about a bike lane for the first time in like 3 years.

I got completely burnt out by the Inman Sq meetings and the selfish car-brained business owners who fought for continued car-dependency.

Hopefully this one will be less depressing...

Somerville PD is harassing people on bikes at intersections again. Forcing bikes to mix with car traffic is putting lives in danger. At the same time the majority of people on bikes yield to pedestrians in crosswalks. I want to see if there is data that shows that this misguided action is leading to any decrease in injuries and deaths. I suspect quite the opposite.

So frustrating.
