Eben habe ich eine #opensource Konfigurationssoftware für mein #Arch Linux entdeckt, mit dem ich meine #Logitech MX Keys S Tastatur und Maus konfigurieren kann. Das Programm heißt #solaar und kann im #Terminal mit

sudo pacman -S solaar

installiert werden.

Ach ja, um eine Einstellung zu ändern mit der Maus auf das kleine Schloss klicken, damit die Funktion einstellbar wird... 😍

I've been fighting with crackling and pops on my #Jabra bluetooth headset on #Arch. While it has been an education in how #Pipewire et al work, I ended up popping the Jabra dongle in and loaded up jLink (https://github.com/Watchdog0x/jLink/). Chef's kiss, works like a dream.

I also did the same thing with my MX Keys Mini. I bought a Bolt receiver off eBay and bam, #Solaar to the rescue. No more input lag upon startup and I can use the keyboard from the drop when I power my machine on.

Okay, huge shout out to #Solaar which is just next level awesome.

I have a MXMaster mouse and I love it, but Logitech don't have a Linux version to customise settings and I really hate the auto "Fast scroll" on the mouse wheel, this gives me all the customisation and more that I could ever want which in this case is setting it never to go into auto free spinning hell mode!

And no I didn't realise my mouse was so low on battery, yes I will be charging it overnight tonight!

One of the things of which I have just been reminded is that #Solaar exists on #Linux. This is a software package that allows you to control the pairing of Logitech's wireless mice and keyboards, which, as it turns out, are what I have been using for years, now.

I have several #Logitech keyboards and mice, but my favorites are the M720 mouse and K375s keyboard, because they are* both relatively inexpensive and control up to 3 devices each via Bluetooth or Unifying receiver (mix/match, even).
