A statue of a rooster in #LittleHavana #MiamiDadeCounty #SoFla. These statues are all over the place. Legend has it the city forced a man to get rid of his beloved pet rooster. So he made a sculpture of it. Everyone wanted a sculpture, so the man made many more sculptures and you can find them all over town. He had to stop making them when the city ordered him to stop. #photography
There are chickens, as in living ones, all over the place, from Downtown Miami to the western suburbs by the Everglades. For whatever reason it seems there are fewer around town after the holiday season.
