The caffeine is going to kill me, but I've got an edible for later so I will sleep like a… well, o don't know. Most things I want to sleep like don't sleep very well. Babies. Whales (floating vertically while sleeping would be awesome). Etc. I guess I need to learn to bring out my inner bat.

Tried Monster Ultra Paradise recently.

I liked it, but couldn't discern exactly what the flavor was supposed to be. So, I looked it up.

Apparently, it's supposed to be "...kiwi and lime with a hint of cucumber." I didn't get any hints of cucumber or lime, but I could see kiwi. Kind of.

It was good, though. I liked it.

Would drink again.

So, I tried Monster Energy Ultra Punk Punch last weekend.

It tasted like red fruit punch.

If I was supposed to discern a specific fruit in this, it was unknowable.

So, at Dollar General I saw G-Fuel's Knuckles the Echidna energy drink called Sour Power. A sucker for gimmicky energy drinks and Sonic the Hedgehog characters, I had to get it.

The flavor is "Sour Power" and let me tell you...it tastes like sweet malic acid. Malic acid is what they put on Sour Patch Kids and other sour candies to make them taste sour. This taste like liquid malic acid with some artificial sugars added in. No specific flavoring, just sweetness.

It was...odd. Not terrible, but odd.

Wouldn't get again.

Tried the Monster Energy Zero Sugar Strawberry Shot.

I liked it.

It did taste like artificial strawberry. In a good way. It kind of had that Monster-esque flavor in the background.
