I went to the concert. There was amazing music, and singing and dancing were thoroughly enjoyed.

The band is full of gay and bisexual guys, and they talk about queer topics and acceptance throughout their songs. But I was blown away by something they did.

As we entered the show, they handed out white, pink, and blue pieces of paper (I got a pink one, see attached). During one of their slower songs, which is basically about acceptance and people being cool as they are rather than trying to fit in with society, they told everyone to hold up the paper in front of our camera flashes. So we made a giant blue/pink/white montage throughout the audience.

It was overwhelmingly moving. There are good folks out there, and they played to a sold-out audience, so we weren't alone tonight.
