Ich hab's nicht so mit Fummelkrams - was solche Zöpfe ja leider sind. Aber es ist das Aufwärmmuster für die SockMadness und da strickt man ja oft Sachen, die man sonst nicht anfassen würde. Anmeldung da geht übrigens bis zum 14. ;)
It's #SockMadness time again - this is the warm-up pattern "In the Twilight" by Kate Poe. I'm taking my time with it while I wait for the qualifying to start. If you want to participate, registration is open till the 14th :)
I designed the pattern for the final round of this year's #SockMadness, which began today at 8 AM Eastern Time. Happy to see the reactions from competitors, especially the people who frogged and restarted multiple times and are still persevering!
It's double-knitting plus intarsia in the round. Competitors might even have to sleep before they finish. 😁
Sock Madness Round 2.
Pattern is Celtic Rain, and includes toe-up construction, a center-out gusset, a leg chart that shifts to one side each repeat, and a crochet bind off that's similar to Judy's Stretchy Bind off. Oh, and also beads, but there's only ten per sock so that was no big deal.
