Just received a message from #society6  that my account will be removed, due to "strategic changes" to their marketplace. While I didn't sell a ton of work, I did have steady payments coming in. I'm not crushed, but disappointed for sure.

I'm trying to remove my information from #Society6 and this is what I see when I try to access my profile page or my settings.

I'd strongly encourage artists to avoid Society6. I certainly won't be purchasing from them ever again (even if I do get access to my account back).

i could see this coming as they started charging artists fees for shipping their own products, then fees and restrictions to the amount of art that could be posted, etc…

i won't miss them…

I only ever sold like two things on Society6 (Redbubble has always been better for me) but I feel bad for the #artists who did have more luck there because wow @ this email I received today. They're straight-up removing #artist shops.

#Society6 just dropped me a mail that they're moving forward with a selection of artists and that I didn't make the cut. I'm not sure I even had any designs up anymore but jesus, what a piece of news to drop out of the blue for people who paid to have more than ten designs on their shop. Sure glad that art is only a hobby for me
