Record numbers of patients are waiting for organ donations while families not only opt out of organ donation, but sometimes over-ride the expressed wishes of their deceased family member.
Willingness to donate one's organs after death always seems to me to be one last act of empathy & compassion we can enact... so might the resistance to posthumous organ donation reveal something more widely about (real) social levels of empathy & compassion?

But it is interesting that both young men and women have become more liberal in the UK since 2010. Not good news for the Tories. Which is 👍.
