For International Day to Combat Islamophobia on March 15, we are highlighting resources to help you counter islamophobia in your learning environments.
Equip your students with religious literacy and cultural competence skills by introducing them to Islam with film! These free lesson plans are based on award-winning films from around the world, including He Named Me Malala (Pakistan/UK), The Neighborhood Storyteller (Syria/Jordan), and Wadjda (Saudi Arabia).
These materials are appropriate for elementary school, middle school and high school; they can also work well for adult/higher ed, HR trainings and professional development, public screenings and community group settings.
