Power's out again. And my PSIA event this weekend has been officially cancelled and refunded because there's no way the lifts will be running.
The precipitation has stopped, at least for now. But it was supposed to turn to snow so I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Kevin FreitasDrove east on I-90 today and the mountains were draped with white strands of water pouring down them where often none can be seen. Was at the same time epic and tragic given this weather events impact on so many.
Rain updates: there's standing water in several places on my property, but no damage to the house.
The WRX can't leave the neighborhood, but the Crosstrek can.
SR 906 is closed near my house. I90 is closed in North Bend.
It's still raining.
I slept in really late catching up on sleep and awoke... RAINED in.
The roads are impassable. The power is out. And I have no idea how to react to being homebound due to a natural disaster that isn't snow.
I-90 is open, but I can't get to it... And that's just REALLY weird.
This was one of my favorite winter views from last season, captured on a bluebird day. I love how the snow blankets the mountain peak and creates a sharp contrast against the deep blue sky.
