Well, it's been a week and I think it's time we enter the Sour Patch.

As I said on Sunday, I jarred Sour Patch Kids Snapple Fruit Flavor Mix in orange vodka last Sunday. Sunday night I opened it up and tried the concoction. The verdict?

First, the surviving gummies. They tasted like flavorless burning. That's about it.

Next, the infused vodka. Imagine orange vodka. Now add in a huge punch of additional citrus and pineapple. It worked and worked well. There was no undertone of sour at all, the malic acid somehow just enhanced everything after a week. 8 out of 10. Would do again.

Also, it tasted delicious mixed into a drink...

I decided to put Sour Patch Kids Snapple Fruit Flavor Mix in Vodka for a week, or until something interesting happens...he said channeling his inner Ryan Doka.

I saw these in the store and after watching too many of Ryan Doka's videos where he puts candy in alcohol for a week, I decided to try this out for myself. You can see more of his videos on his YouTube channel here: https://www.instagram.com/dokaryan

Not shown is some Swedish Fish also in orange vodka that my wife decided to set up.

We jarred this on Sunday, so I'll report back with the results next week.
