Video from slow walks on the farm. Neighbours have cattle there over the summer. I think the cows / calves find it weird to see me on foot, usually they take off if I get close (sometimes calves approach but mothers intervene). These ones were more curious, so I spent a little time watching+ talking to them- they never did answer!

Yesterday was my #LazyMonday so #GausuMate #MotherOfLaziness told me to take it easy! Coming back from a #SlowWalk on the #farm - enjoying my #LazyMonday +hunting for galls for Gall Week, I noticed this person standing on the path staring at me- she didn't look happy to see me- stamped her foot a few times as I stood and took photos/video- I expected her to dash off as I fiddled with camera, talked on video, moved for a better view- but she hung around a few minutes then walked calmly away. 27-31C this week, making it our warmest week of the year; nights forecast 7-9C with one 10C/50F so it cools pretty quickly + cool in shade. #Monday is my recovery day from crazy (esp in summer) work weekends, so I went out late afternoon, spent some time looking at #critters on the Aralia in the #garden (see alt) then a #SlowWalk in the #bush Saw a grouse, cows + more (video eventually)

Smoke was just visible, but I could smell it when I first went out. Smokier again today.
This #butterfly flew up and landed very near several times so I could get more angles (see #iNat) -just one of several that posed for me.
