Martin Vermeer FCDYoutube is now publishing deepfake videos 'by' well known people like Rachel Maddow and Rick Wilson. The text is spoken by their synthetised talking heads, or just their voice is used.
The scripts of the videos are not misleading as such - only as to the identity of the claimed speaker. But that is bad enough. What is especially bad is that there is no clear marking that these are deepfakes. In a just world, there would be a glaring colour background, like when you go to private mode in Firefox. Ugh.
