A concern is that this bias in approach to providing a ‘Golden thread' will only add further unforeseen consequences compounding problems -if there is not also single individual knowledgeable champions with authority having consistent direct engagement through a construction project. UK #procurement needs serious review, & the answer isn’t in a computer, but with people & their interrelationships. @george_morgan

The 'Web of Blame' below presented on the final day of the #Grenfell Inquiry. is a ‘Web of Shame’. Managerial culture enforced by contractual relationships has enabled the buck to be passed endlessly, without anyone accepting responsibility.
#Procurement is an important contributor to this but isn’t included in the remit given to the inquiry.
