I seriously hope not. While I am cognisant of the lives lost (on both sides) so far because of Russian imperialism, I cannot see a ‘frozen war’ to be accceptable to Ukraine and its valiant population. Mainly because giving up on those Ukrainians behind enemy lines isn’t on the table, will never be on the table. Ukrainian culture has been under the Soviet/Russian boot too long for that to happen.

No, a frozen front will only last as long as #Putin wants it to last and no longer. Therefore, that is not something to contemplate. A decisive Russian defeat (militarily, politically or diplomatically) is the only end game for Ukraine, the EU and I dare say the Rules based Order (in whatever form it will take post #trump administration)
