Finally added a #SketchyBar integration sample for #Yashiki! I'm not usually a custom menu bar person, so I implemented this to live alongside the standard OS bar.

Actually found it pretty convenient after testing it out.

I mean, these are all options.

@tru Wow, that's what I call intense! 😅

I considered doing something similar since my other laptop is beautifully configured with #NixOS , but then I decided just to integrate Nix Darwin with my #MacBookPro and spice it up with tiled windows and custom taskbar...it's now pure awesomeness 👌🤘😎   #yabai #sketchybar

Just discovered #sketchybar for #macOS. I really recommend if you are interested in rolling your own menu bar. It's a lot of manual config but it's a ton of fun.

Made some additional minor adjustments to make my #macos setup even more darn sexy!

Blows my mind how flexible and configurable #sketchybar is! What can I say, I really love me a good status bar and tiled windows...bonus points for being able to implement it on an @apple device 🤘 😎

This weekend, I will try tiling window managers like #yabai and #Amethyst together with #SketchyBar as a #macOS menu alternative.

I'm already working in some form of tiling window world with #Divvy, let go the next step.

The only thing that is stopping me is that there is no default concept for a single centered window, which is my default state.

I'm sure there are ways to configure or script a solution for that too. Let's see, what the result is after this weekend.
