Trivia win at #PourBros217 and leaving the #skeeball stalls with better scores than I arrived. What better way to go into #capitalcitycomiccon?

After a week's postponement, we are ready to roll tomorrow night. We are no longer "Gainesville Brewskee-ball", we are "Roll Gainesville" (post tags and categories are transitioning).

I mentioned a week ago (which seems very long ago) that I was venturing into AI-assisted programming to try to replace the software we lost access to. I am happy to report that venture was successful. Well, as far as I know, it was successful. We will find out tomorrow night! I'll save details about that process for a different post at some point.

When I started this, my objective was to have an electronic form to enter scores into that could be saved and imported into a spreadsheet so paper score sheets would not have to be transcribed. What I ended up with is a nearly feature-complete system. It is lacking in some areas, but has improvements over the original software in others.

Due to some sort of legal situation with the national Brewskee-Ball organization, most of the affiliates (like us) have been cut loose. Week 1 of the regular season has been postponed for a week, with a plan to have everyone roll twice sometime during the season so that we catch up by the end.

Unfortunately, this also means we no longer have a league scoring and tracking system and may be reduced to manual scoring and spreadsheets for tracking.

Skeeson 20 of Gainesville Brewskee-ball is just around the corner -- June 10 through August 19.

My wife (knobodskee) and I are both missing teammates, so we are joining forces. Skeeter and I will be joining her on It's Not EZ Being Skeezy. In the past, at different times, Skeeter and I have both been members of the team.

I'm going to bite the bullet and try to roll for hundos this season. I think the only way I'm ever going have a chance at getting good at it is to go all-in. It worked for Dragginballz. I figure if I'm going to risk sucking big-time, I should do it on someone else's team, LOL.
