I canβt begin to adequately describe how beautiful it was today up in the Skagit Valley. Sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. Could this be winter? It was a little chilly but I was dressed for success, four layers. We passed by flocks of Trumpeter Swans in the fields. Got to take one of our semi-annual trips up north with my daughter and her husband. Despite the pissing down rain, we headed up into #SkagitValley onto #ChuckanutDrive
We took a nice walk down to the water in #LarrabeeStatePark to check out the rock formations, moss, lichen, and a few teeny mushrooms. Managed to get a bunch of pictures and I'm looking forward to sorting through them tomorrow.
Also stopped by one of my favorite local cheesemongers(Samish Bay Cheese) in the area and picked up partial wheel of cheese and some lebneh cheesecake.
