So while I’m walking my dogs, my phone suddenly buzzes an emergency alert. It’s a silver alert for somewhere in San Jose, which is over 100 mi.² in size. I also don’t live in San Jose. I click on the link at the bottom for additional information and I’m taken to a logon screen. When I enter my email, I’m told I don’t have an account for Microsoftonline.

At this point giving up. They don’t really want my help.

Yikes. Independent police auditors may be better in theory than in practice. Even the last mayor called for the civilian oversight to have more power over the #SJPD.
