Die Singdrossel ist ein Kurzzieher. Sie überwintert in Nordafrika oder Südeuropa. Daher kann es auch durchaus passieren, dass sie im Februar schon wieder zurück kommen. Dieses Jahr als eine der ersten Frühlingsboten haben die Singdrosseln in den Gesang eingestimmt. Zu finden sind die Singdrosseln in Mischwälder oder Parks, meist mit guter Aussicht.
