@ami_angelwings As I mentioned in my review, the final episode Tomorrow isn’t BAD per se, but it comes at the end of a brutal, brutal, final arc that needed a finale that was, well, MORE.
More than Tomorrow could be in the 23 minutes it had. Much more.

Silent Möbius von 1991 - wow talking about vom Trailer blenden lassen, #SilentMÖbius ist ein Parade-Beispiel bei dem die Optik und Stimmung absolut ablenkt von dieser wirren und banalen Story über eine okkulte Polizei Einheit und übergriffe übernatürliche Monster. Das ganze Setting hat mich auch sehr an andere #SciFi Filme, wie #BladeRunner erinnert.

In a futuristic Tokyo, several policewomen fight a monster. One of them, Katsumi Liqueur, remembers where she saw it before... Katsumi Liqueur, an American-born woman of Japanese descent, travels to Tokyo to visit her mother, Fuyuka, who is sick in the hospital. She takes a shortcut through an alley after her taxi gets stuck in traffic, only to encounter a monster and two policewomen fighting it. Later, she meets their chief, Rally Cheyenne, who, it seems, has been expecting her, though Katsumi has never met her before. The policewomen want Katsumi to help them fight the monster, but Katsumi, who does not want to believe in magic, resists.
If you ever felt fascinated by the fusion of Science Fiction and fantasy in Shadowrun, you might like watching Silent Möbius, a futurist anime where strange demons (called "Lucifer Hawks") invade Earth and a special police force has the mission to combat them, with both material and spiritual means.
I call this "cyberpunk" in the lightest sense of the word; the aesthetics of the anime are typical of cyberpunk media (giant skyscrapers; flying cars, futuristic weapons), but the tone of the series leans towards supernatural horror with a sprinkle of Neo Noir.
The series tends to be episodic, but there is a certain level of intrigue that keeps you hooked. Definitely not a bad series, and worth watching if only for the futuristic aesthetics.
So a kind of awesome #ShopGoodwill find arrived. I was able to get 2 #anime cels for pretty cheap. Both are from the 90s.
