🦢 Mute swan preening its feathers 🇩🇪
📝 To get this shot, I kept creeping closer little by little, taking 3–4 photos before starting over from the beginning. The swan was so engrossed that it didn’t notice me. This isn’t a cropped photo. In the end, I crept back out again.
ℹ️ The mute swan (Cygnus olor) grows up to 1.6 meters long and can have a wingspan of up to 2.4 meters. They feed mainly on aquatic plants and small animals, such as mussels.

🦢 Höckerschwan putzt sich raus 🇩🇪
📝 Für dieses Foto habe ich mich immer wieder einen Schritt herangepirscht, 3-4 Fotos gemacht und von vorne. Der Schwan war so sehr mit sich beschäftigt, dass er mich nicht gemerkt hat. Das ist kein Crop. Am Ende wieder zurück gepirscht.
ℹ️ Der Höckerschwan (Cygnus olor) wird bis zu 1,60 Meter lang und erreicht dabei eine Spannweite von bis zu 2,40 Meter. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Pflanzen, die im Wasser leben, und kleinen Tieren, wie Muscheln. Markant ist der Höcker über dem Schnabel, woher der Schwan seinen Namen hat.

🐦Blue tit actionshot 🇫🇮
📝 I had wanted to take a photo like this for a long time, with the bird's body frozen and its wings clearly visible yet slightly blurred. I was observing the flight paths of blue tit parents near a nest. They had 3 branches on which they land. I positioned myself accordingly and took the photo using manual focus. I had to take the photo by hand because I didn't have a tripod. The result? About 400 unusable photos, this one, and sore muscles in my left upper arm.
ℹ️ The blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) grows to 11.5 cm and weighs up to 12 g. It can be seen all year round and feeds on insects, seeds and apples.

📝 So ein Foto wollte ich schon lange machen: Körper eingefroren, Flügel gut erkennbar, aber leicht verschwommen. Dabei habe ich in der Nähe eines Nestes die Flugruten der Blaueiseneltern beobachtet. Sie hatten drei Anflugäste. Ich habe mich dann entsprechend platziert und mit manuellen Fokus fotografiert. Dabei musste ich aus der Hand fotografieren, da ich kein Stativ dabei hatte. Ergebnis: ca. 400 unbrauchbare Fotos und dieses (sowie Muskelkater im linken Oberarm).
ℹ️ Die Blaumeise (Cyanistes caeruleus) wird bis zu 11,5 cm groß und wiegt bis zu 12 g. Sie ist ganzjährig zu beobachten und ernährt sich u.a. von Insekten, Sämereien und Äpfel.
