Strike pauses nation but fails to stop Milei's labour reform in lower house
"You wonโt remember the flu waves of 2020/21 because there werenโt any. Covid measures effectively controlled the flu virus."
"Vaccinate, isolate, ventilate: will we finally learn the lessons from covid this flu season?"

A somewhat disappointing article from the BBC about the increasing losses to sickness in the UK. They quote a heavyweight from retail and the article manages to paint a bleak picture that is totally without balance. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c7v80n7mz2jo

Oh they've let Angela have a win, how gracious of them.
For residents of Gilead, 'sick pay' is something you get to tide you over for when you are sick. It's never usually enough, but it's more than you sad bastards probably get ๐
For example...
โข Make flu jabs & covid jabs free for anyone who wants them
โข Mandate & fund minimum air quality in hospitals & public buildings
โข Mandate & provide FFP3 respi masks in all medical settings
โข Fund sick pay for 10 days after a positive covid test
โข Subsidise Pluslife quick testing units, or similar, for schools and medical settings
Probably all of that put together would still be cheaper than _not_ doing it!
