The flyby of a #Russian_Su_30, #Su_35, and three #MiG_31s was recorded near #Latvian airspace.

Two #Gripen jets of the #Hungarian Air Force took off from #Lithuania’s #Šiauliai air base to intercept them.

Kryžių Kalnas (Hill of Crosses), near Šiauliai, in northern Lithuania. A major site of pilgrimage and national resistance. During the 1940–1990 occupation, Russian soldiers repeatedly bulldozed the site, only to find more crosses the next morning.
