Prime Minister Lester Pearson's successor was Pierre Trudeau, whom Pearson had recruited and made justice minister in his cabinet. Two other cabinet ministers Pearson recruited, John Turner and Jean Chrétien, also served as 🇨🇦 prime ministers.
PM Pearson won a Nobel Peace Prize for his work on the Suez Canal crisis and today Pearson International Airport in #Toronto is named in his honour.
