A Story About a Dragon Loving His Precious Werewolf

Who do you spend the most time with?

Hello! For this week’s Dragon Talk, we jump right into what Rin has to say. We know he loves spending time with his wolf.

Rin

I love spending time with Argönon. He understands me the most—besides my father. Argo lets me do what I like, he doesn’t pressure me, and he understands my different mental states. When I’m in a bad place, he will stay with me the entire time until I feel better. He’s been spending months at our home. We’ve had many days where we just sleep or lay, because I don’t have the strength to get up or do anything more. He stays with me, sometimes he’ll even hold me. I feel bad that he can’t do anything for himself because he’s so busy tending to me. Sometimes I force myself to go out with him and do things he likes. Even though I am in that dark pit, I fear losing him from exhaustion.

He said he would never be tired of being with me. I do wonder, is he not tired because we mate a lot? Maybe it’s because he’s being rewarded with that? Or I should just accept that he genuinely loves me enough to stay with me so long out of his own volition.

Regardless, I spent most of my days with him. Argo and I are joined at the hip. He follows me around like a lost puppy and I follow him around like a homeless kitten. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Before Argo, I spent so much time in my brothers’ room. I’d hop from room to room, begging to play games with them. Even though I have assigned royal duties to my brothers and sisters, we always find time for each other. We live in the same house, so naturally we visit each other multiple times a day.

I still visit them a lot, even with Argo joining me, but with depression being so debilitating on some days, they make the effort to visit me. They understand.

We are dragons. We understand each other greatly when it comes to things like these.
