Prime Minister Lester Pearson's successor was Pierre Trudeau, whom Pearson had recruited and made justice minister in his cabinet. Two other cabinet ministers Pearson recruited, John Turner and Jean ChrΓ©tien, also served as πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ prime ministers.
PM Pearson won a Nobel Peace Prize for his work on the Suez Canal crisis and today Pearson International Airport in #Toronto is named in his honour.
