Happy bank holiday, for those who are lucky enough to be off work today. I got some more LotRO grinding done, and washed my hair. So yeah, successful by my metrics. :D

I'm currently waiting to see what the Royal Mail manages in regards to US tariffs. We are lucky (if you can all it that) that we only have a 10% rate... but it's still something that's going to add extra admin costs... and I'm going to have to up the price of my shipping, because I have to go to the Post Office to ship things to the States. Previously I'd just dip into my stamp stash and use that to cut shipping costs, but... And of course, there's the self-admin of figuring out how to reprice everything to cover the extra admin, and whether I can on my self-hosted Wordpress/Woocommerce shop set up an entirely different price structure for US customers. There's usually good plug-ins available for Wordpress/Woo, so we'll see. Certainly any initial tinkering on that is going to be on Etsy.

Right, back to grinding and yarning and things.

Why are bodies. I had a parcel to take to the Post Office counter and just like... so tired. But then, I was that level of tired/exhausted shoving my laundry in the machine this morning, so. Bleh.

But yeah, I'd posted a lil note on FB last night telling friends in the States that if they want anything from my store, they need to buy it yesterday because with the current de minimus crap, I'm going to have to stop selling to the States. By luck, spouse and I have hit the same point of questing in 'Lord of the Rings Online', and it's a place where pairing up with someone is how you're supposed to play it (instead of us and our trying to solo everything BS). Neither of us like joining up with randos, but occasionally doing quests together? That's alright. We can talk to each other in the room. Which is different from trying to coordinate in text, or voice chat with not-in-room people. xD

Yup, *deifnitely* did entirely too much yesterday. So of course, just went for another round of it... *thunks head* But hey, all the dishes in the house are clean? And that also means my brain is starting to let go of a *tiny* degree of my OCD with my hands (I still need to lotion many times a day, but I can actually wash a dish/get my hands wet without deep stressing).

I finished stitching my first go at the Disability pride flat as a heart, and it is *so* good, I love it. I need to do a 1" one as well, the dimensions of which I've got sketched out on graph paper. As for this one, it's currently in one of the little trick-or-treat buckets I was my cross-stitches in doing a soak. I've gone ahead and gotten a listing up for it if anyone wanted one:

I'm also thinking on how to render the flag in cross-stitch, and I think the answer is that I can't do the straight-up flag because the dimensions do *not* lend themselves to cross-stitch, but I could do a both a little smol heart and a bigger heart. I think the striping will look really good in that format, so watch this space.

((the disability flag is on a 4/3 scale, and most flags are like... 5/3? So I can't render the diagonal stripes correctly in flag shape without resorting to ungodly amounts of half-stitch, which, no))

So yeah, I guess that's my craft chore for the day, should I accept it. There's every chance I'll just be smashing things in 'Dysmantle' until bedtime, ha ha. So it goes. <3

So, had a nice bath. Tried to soak a bit. The second I get downstairs, my back does an angry spasm. Rude? Ruuuuuuude. So taken a bop of co-codamol, though it was strawberry ouchn't this time, ha ha.

I was pleased that so many of y'all boosted my shop post yesterday! I'm hoping more will (it's pinned for ease). I'm also hoping it actually converts to sales -- none yet this month. I'll certainly be trying to tout myself a bit, though of course, that requires getting past the 'oh no I don't want to be a pest' and 'maybe my stuff isn't good after all'. Brains, innit.

Right! Gonna sit and veg for a minutes, and then probably continue doing too many chores. I am completely lacking in spoons, but part of having a spouse joining me in the long-term fatigue game is trying to pick up more chores to support him. It's easier to trick myself into it, though yeah, I do pay some. Not as bad as he does, but I also have nearly 30 additional years experience with chronic fatigue. xD
