"Girls Just Want to Have Fun" is a single written in 1979 by #RobertHazard and made famous in 1983 by the American singer-songwriter #CyndiLauper, who changed some of the lyrics. It was released by #PortraitRecords as Lauper's debut single from her first solo album, #ShesSoUnusual (1983), which was released four days earlier.
