No. He wanted to snuggle in my bed at one in the morning. All politeness is going out the window in his elder years and his threshold for "should I scream" keeps lowering

I'm a #guix\#shepherd user myself, and even then I'm starting to think (because feature creep happens to the best of us) that a minimal cut-down version running as PID1, and then runs up a more sophisticated version after itself, would be on the whole a better set-up. It should also be possible to run alternative OS managers side-by-side.
Admittedly, Shepherd is really good and I'm reluctant to make systems more complicated, but it's the choice that matters.

Nikyle Begay is a #shepherd, a #weaver, & a member of the Diné tribe. (Diné is the name for the tribe commonly referred to as #Navajo.) While it might be easy to see these as three separate identities, for Nikyle they are inseparable and each aspect informs the other, especially as Nikyle has chosen to raise #NavajoChurroSheep, a breed intrinsically tied to the history of the Diné people in more ways than just a name.
