AGI - Caravaggio torna al Senato. Il ritratto di Monsignor Maffeo Barberini, futuro Papa Urbano VIII, recentemente acquistato dallo Stato, sarà esposto gratuitamente al pubblico da domani fino al prossimo 21 giugno nella sala capitolare del complesso della Minerva, una delle sedi del Senato. Il presidente Ignazio La Russa e il ministro della Cultura, Alessandro Giuli, hanno presentato questo pomeriggio l'opera dipinta da Michelangelo Merisi alla fine del '500.
Le dichiarazioni delle istituzioni e le acquisizioni dello Stato
"Il ministero della Cultura si pone al servizio della cittadinanza guardando alle generazioni future, ai giovani" che disporranno "di un patrimonio di questa importanza", ha detto Giuli. "I soldi dei contribuenti sono sacri e noi spendiamo i fondi accantonati per le acquisizioni cercando di fare il meglio: questo è il meglio", ha sottolineato.
La mostra, ha poi ricordato La Russa, si apre in concomitanza con l'80esimo anniversario della Repubblica. "La politica ha solo da crescere nell'accettazione dei cittadini utilizzando quando può i propri luoghi per allargare il bacino di utenza di opere d'arte", ha affermato. "L'Italia, questo piccolo punto del mondo, ha dato e continua a dare a tutti un grande patrimonio di cui dobbiamo cercare di essere degni", ha aggiunto.
La collocazione storica dell'opera e il legame con il Senato
"La tradizione degli studi - spiega una nota - colloca l'opera intorno al 1599, nella fase in cui Caravaggio, ormai affermato sulla scena romana, elabora il suo linguaggio più riconoscibile, fondato sull'essenzialità della composizione, sulla forza del gesto e sull'uso calibrato della luce".
La mostra riallaccia un legame storico profondo con i luoghi del Senato: negli anni romani, Caravaggio fu infatti ospite del cardinale Francesco Maria del Monte, che abitava proprio a Palazzo Madama, e frequentò l'area di piazza Navona e San Luigi de' Francesi.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Pamela Genini, i carabinieri cercano la testa della 29enne nelle aree rurali di proprietà dell’ex Francesco Dolci
Non c’è ancora pace per i familiari di Pamela Genini, la 29enne uccisa lo scorso 14 ottobre dall’ex fidanzato, Gianluca Soncin, il cui cadavere è stato vilipeso nella tomba del cimitero di Strozza. Per questo reato è indagato dalla procura di Bergamo Francesco Dolci, ex della giovane e suo amico.
Da questa mattina i carabinieri di Bergamo hanno avviato le ricerche della testa della giovane che è stata trafugata dalla bara: le ricerche si concentrano nelle aree rurali che fanno parte della proprietà di Dolci a Sant’Omobono Terme. In azione, oltre ai militari dell’arma, anche le unità cinofile di Firenze, che operano grazie a un decreto di perquisizione emesso dalla Procura di Bergamo, che coordina le indagini. Si tratta di un’area estesa, sottolineano i militari, che richiederà molti giorni di perlustrazione. La cinofila utilizzerà i cani Claus, un pastore tedesco belga malinois, e Hula, pastore tedesco, specializzati nella ricerca di resti umani e parti anatomiche in contesti ambientali difficili.
Le abitazioni dell’imprenditore e dei suoi genitori sono state già perquisite dai carabinieri del comando provinciale di Bergamo la sera del 6 maggio, al termine di una giornata che Dolci ha trascorso in caserma. Lì i resti di Pamela Genini non sono stati trovati ma l’auspicio degli inquirenti è di poter rintracciare la testa in aree remote delle vaste proprietà di famiglia. I terreni, a quanto si apprende, hanno una vasta estensione e sono stati individuati grazie a uno studio della tenuta dei Dolci, senza però la collaborazione dell’indagato che ha più volte ribadito di non essere stato lui a profanare la tomba dell’amica.

Sono state individuate dai carabinieri del comando provinciale di Bergamo alcune aree rurali in cui potrebbe trovarsi la testa di Pamela Genini, la 29enne uccisa lo scorso 15 ottobre a Milano dall'ex fidanzato Gianluca Soncin e poi seppellita nel cimitero del suo paese natale, Strozza, nella Bergamasca, dove qualcuno ha profanato la salma. Per il vilipendio del cadavere è indagato dalla Procura di Bergamo l'amico di Genini, Francesco Dolci. Oggi la svolta nelle indagini dei carabinieri, che in una nota comunicano di aver dato esecuzione a un decreto di perquisizione emesso dalla Procura. L'attività - viene spiegato - è "finalizzata alla ricerca della parte della salma ad oggi non rinvenuta e interesserà alcune aree rurali preventivamente individuate sulla base delle risultanze investigative sinora acquisite".
Le operazioni, "particolarmente complesse per estensione territoriale e caratteristiche dei luoghi da ispezionare", dureranno più giornate. Per le ricerche è stato chiesto il supporto di un'unità cinofila specializzata nella ricerca di resti umani, proveniente dal centro carabinieri cinofili di Firenze. Dalla Toscana sono così arrivati nella Bergamasca "Claus", un pastore belga Malinois, e "Hula", un esemplare di pastore tedesco. I due cani sono stati addestrati proprio a individuare parti anatomiche, anche in ambienti complessi e su superfici vaste, come l'area in cui verrà cercata la testa di Pamela Genini.
