Interested in spending a couple years in Shenzhen?
I'm recruiting a postdoc to work with me at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
In particular, the postdoc has the opportunity to participate in a cross-campus (Shenzhen–Hong Kong) collaboration with me and Prof. Lauren Pick at CUHK. Part of this work is about advancing term-rewriting techniques like equality saturation for verified compilation (and recompilation!) on AI accelerators.
The position is a 2-year contract, ideally starting late 2026/early 2027. Additionally, there are various government subsidies at the Guangdong and Shenzhen levels to supplement your income. It is also possible to use grant funds to support the postdoc in hiring student interns/RAs.
Basic requirements to qualify for Shenzhen & Guangdong government subsidies:
• Candidate is under 35 years old.
• Graduated with a PhD within the last three years (ideally from a university ranked in the top 200 by QS in the year of graduation).
If interested (or know someone who may be), please reach out to me.
