A good insertion all round followed by contemplation of the incarcerated pony. Weather has improved a bit since this was taken and my bicycle is calling.

The #sheep were fed at dusk yesterday. They heard me putting the chickens away and came trotting over to see what I had for them, so they got their usual meal of Rammaster and sugar beet pellets.

Morning Sheep Time
I think we've had about 3 actual spring days this year. Apart from that it's been rain, cold, wind, rain and cold, rain and wind, and rain and cold and wind. Buster way down the bottom field, fleeces too damp for proper cuddles. Pony probably in the best place at the moment.

WenA friend sent me this - an oil labelled 20th century school of a collie, shepherd and sheep in a snowy field.
I do like the brushwork and colours but can not help thinking the artist had never actually seen a collie working sheep or even the behaviour of the sheep themselves. Maybe a depiction of what he thinks the snowy scene would look like
After a couple of days away, I had to go looking for the #sheep, to check up on them, and see if they wanted food. Of course they wanted food, despite not touching the hay racks for days. The picture is from the moment they first spotted me.
