My blog, for example, is mainly CC By-SA. Some of my content is CC By or Public Domain. I very rarely use NC and ND. I believe in #FreeCulture, #SharingCulture, #OpenKnowledge, #Copyleft, #PublicDomain, or whichever label one prefers, there are too many (the umbrella term is "Free Culture").

Great news. Last year's release of the IRR related to #Copyright stated that a registry will be created for Filipino works, and works produced in the Philippines, in the #PublicDomain.

In addition to the above, the IRR also finalised that any Philippine government works, unless otherwise specified, are now automatically in the Public Domain.

I am considering redesigning one of my university seminars next semester to focus more on #H5P and a #SharingCulture. In the spirit of #DeeperLearning and #DesignThinking, I want my students to create a "digital artifact" that can be used and shared in the "real world“, not just my course.

I really would like to encourage my students to use #Mastodon for sharing and getting inspiration/feedback, so do we have enough people caring about this sort of content here?
