Politiche sconsiderate in passato”

Kelany and the attack on the left: “Second-generation immigrants? Reckless policies in the past.”

The discussion revolves around Salim El Koudri’s gesture in Modena on Wednesday, May 20th, in the episode of “4 di Sera” (4:00 PM), the talk show hosted by Paolo Del Debbio on Rete4. Among the guests is Sara Kelany, a Member of Parliament for Fratelli d'Italia (Brothers of Italy), who gives a clear judgment in the days following the incident in the Emilia-Romagna city, focusing particularly on the situation of second-generation Islamic migrants in Italy: “The problem of second-generation migrants exists, unfortunately the left always sweeps the dirt under the rug, but it exists. There is the problem of Islamic separatism, which unfortunately is beginning to occur even in the large Italian peripheries, where in certain enclaves the Sharia is applied and not the law of the constitution. These are young people who grow up in Italy but are detached from the context, they don’t feel Italian, they don’t feel part of this territory and they demand to apply a law that is not that of the constitution. We are simply at the end of what has already happened in Europe with the French banlieues, what happened in Northern Europe, what happened even in Great Britain. In Italy we are still not in that situation and we must intervene, we absolutely must intervene against these terrible trends.”

“If integration hasn’t been created now… - Kelany continues - Integration as you see is not an issue that is obtained in the immediate, in the short term, integration is created in the medium-long term, indeed these are second-generation young people who often live in Italy for 15 years, 18 years. The problem comes from thoughtless policies of the past that made people believe that coming to Italy was enough to consider themselves Italian, that you could come to Italy and then it didn't matter to respect the values, the constitutional and cultural contexts. They even justify women who wear the full veil just to avoid discomforting their good intentions about immigration.”

Egypt: ICRC, Al-Azhar University Emphasize Shared Principles Between IHL and Islamic Sharia

(Cairo - ICRC) The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in collaboration with Al-Azhar University—one of the world’s oldest institutions of Islamic learning—hosted a seminar titled “The Principles of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and their Commonalities with Islamic Sharia” on 3–4 May at the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Cairo.

“ What an increasing number of Republicans like Ogles, Fine, Tuberville, Roy, Paxton, Cornyn, and Trump are building is not a defense against theocracy. It is an American version of the same architecture, state power directed at a religious minority, justified by the claim that one faith tradition is incompatible with national life. That is not constitutional governance. It is the thing the Constitution was designed to prevent.”

Donald #Trump, who appears in the #EpsteinFiles perhaps more than Epstein himself, began #Easter Sunday with a vulgar post that concluded “Praise be to Allah!”

That’s the news today. From now to eternity, any #Republican who brings up “#Sharia law” should be forced to explain Trump’s proclamation.
