Today I woke up to a view like that of a bird, flying high above the world, with tall trees below my feet. I thought I was still dreaming, but the rain stinging my face assured me that I was not! I turned my gaze upwards and saw a Valkyrie had me by the shoulders and was carrying me to... who knows where? I barely had time to consider my situation before the Valkyrie dipped down and let me go a few feet from the ground before flying off. I found myself in the middle of a circle of seven stones, each engraved with strange designs. A Vegvisr, a tablet with directions, glowed red with power. A large black raven sat upon it. It introduced itself as Hugin, a messenger of the Allfather himself, sent to guide me in this land it calls "#Valheim". Talking crows. I might not be dreaming, but there is nothing normal about this place. I set about exploring and fashioned a flint spear to hunt and defend myself. I met others, like me, who had been brought here by the Valkyrie. We have begun to build a settlement to the north of the circle of stones, on a bay with clear waters.

Landed upright on the third attempt. Then reloaded and did the whole landing again in IVA mode. I collected some dust and rocks and hope that the Kerbals still have enough fuel to get back into orbit, where the return module is waiting. 🖖
