I cycled against the flow into town tonight and I'm now convinced we need a social convention on bike lights on separated paths, like we have around high beam/low beam on country roads.

I get you want to be bright as fuck and flashing when in car traffic.

But on the separated path all you're doing is ruining people's night vision so you should *adjust your beam*
