Chao-c'Mám dnes náhodou narozky a tohle náhodou sjížděli na Rádiu 1... vtipný je, že od toho roku 1992 dnes uplynulo víc let, než bylo tehdy těm bigbeatům, co jsem zamlada poslouchal (tohle bych si tehdy nepustil...). Shamen vlastně definovali žánr, jako první se pokusili atmosféru rave scény přetransformovat do popmusic (což bylo následně megazkomercionalizováno, ale už bez nich) a taky byli jednou z prvních kapel aktivních na Internetu.
Ellie‽ (Radio Edit)I’m not entirely sure what started it, but a little while back I decided to start collecting all the Shamen albums on tape (Boss Drum was the last album I bought on tape before moving up to CDs), which soon ended up including the singles as well. I stopped after a while but I recently started again, picking up another couple. I’ve only got two more left to get now (I’m only going for the UK releases), if I can get the original Pro>gen single and the Hempton Manor album, that’ll be the lot I think!

greterim vergleich zu früher habe ich jetzt begriffe für diskriminierende verhaltensweisen: #gaslighting, #tonepolicing, #whataboutism, #bothsideism, isolation zb. es ändert leider (noch) nichts daran, dass es nach wie vor passiert und viele dem ausgeliefert sind. aber es hilft mir zb, mich nicht mehr dafür auch noch #shamen zu lassen.
