Today's task: write a combat scene for a sentient warship who doesn't like killing. I'm getting very inventive finding ways to neutralise enemies without actually destroying them. My sapient machine intelligence grieves if he kills another machine intelligence. Which is a bit of a problem, because he's a warship who is designed for killing. #sfwriters #writersofmastodon #writing #sciencefiction

Been chatting with my writing group friends (side note, having writing friends: ❤❤) about how stuck and stressed I've been about writing lately and a couple of them suggested I try some solo RPGs to get used to no pressure, prompted story writing and I'm kinda looking forward to trying it. Anyone tried this before?
