#Sewing project to take my mind off the world. Straight from "DIY Olga" on YouTube, I made this crossbody bag for my wife from an old pair of jeans. An old striped button down shirt is the lining. (I still need the "closure" thingy.)

DIY Olga made it look easy - I'm a beginner, so it took me a lot longer and there are a couple "don't look too closely" spots.

My wife loves it.

So it begins. The stash has been raided and is headed for the clothes line. Pattern has been chosen. I am using a discontinued Helen's Closet pattern that I intend to modify to make a lined denim jacket. If I can get this done by the time it's warm enough to wear it, I will be doing okay!

It's not a _perfect_ fit, but it looks store-bought, so it'll do :) Since it's jersey it'll shape itself after my body in a while anyway. And _finally_ something to wear that isn't marine, or white with dark stripes, or brownish!
