#Balanomorpha is a clade of #barnacles of the higher taxon#Cirripedia (Crustacea). Here #sessile adults of the invasive #Balanus #trigonus with their typical ribbed #shells, secreted by pouch-like carapaces. M.Zhang et al. (2023) isolated the #mitochondrialgenome of another neozoon: Megabalanus coccopoma,thus establishing it as #scientificmodel.

Je viens de recevoir mes Sessile réparées. Elles sont comme neuves, c'est très impressionnant. Je m'achèterai sans doute une seconde paire dans quelques mois pour disposer d'un peu de marge pendant les réparations mais y'a pas à dire, je suis trop fier. La team a même modifié le petit message remerciant ma mère (c'était un cadeau d'anniversaire) pour s'adresser à moi. #sessile #madeinfrance #ecofriendly
