That will be the last day GIICA will let us use these 32 hectares of green space, and sit under centuries-old gum trees animals call home before they cut them down.

The Goori Camp Embassy is on site.
Between today and the 2nd of June, they call on everyone to "Fill the Park and Defend Living Heritage" by joining them, hanging out, and increasing the size of the camp.

This is 6 years before the games, without having released a construction plan for the public to review.
That would require kicking out the First Nations camps on this culturally and historically significant site – during National Reconciliation Week.
