Berge in Bewegung – Berge unter Beobachtung

Im September 2024 fand die fünfte Ausgabe der Innsbruck Summer School of Alpine Research – Sensing Mountains in Obergurgl statt. Über 40 internationale Early Career Scientists tauschten sich eine Woche lang über innovative Methoden und Lösungen zur Beobachtung von Naturraumprozessen in Gebirgsräumen aus.

Thursday started with four lectures. @EltnerGSS gave an introduction to Thermal Sensing, followed by @francescopirotti with a lecture on 'Hands-on Machine Learning.'
Sander Oude Elberink discussed 'Cesium in Unity: How 3D Geospatial Data is Integrated in a Gaming Environment,' and Caroline Gaevert closed the morning with her lecture on 'Hands-on AI & Ethics.
