Rachel W.I will never understand why people want their children, or anyone, to go through hellish experiences that they did.
It doesn't "build character", it causes trauma.
If @powerword and I can help it, our child won't have to go through the traumatic things that we did.
We should want better for our kids, not equal or worse.
