Laura's childhood #Landscape-s inspired her Little House series & the #Wild settings, #PlumCreek & the big #Woods, are as beloved as Ma & Pa.

A lifelong #Gardener, Laura wrote for her local newspaper in February 1918:

“Now is the time to make a #Garden!

I know of no pleasanter occupation these cold, snowy days than to sit warm & snug by the fire - making a garden with a pencil & a #SeedCatalog."
