After losing 2 out of 3 and now 3 in a row out of 6 games vs the #Dodgers, the Giants' hopes of making it to the playoffs are now pretty much dashed, with only 7 games left in the season and now 4 games behind the #Mets who are in 3rd place (the last spot) in the NL Wildcard Playoff race with the #Red & #Dbacks only 1 & 2 games, respectively behind the Mets ahead of them.

It's been a wild ride this season with great hope & anticipation before the All-Star Break contrasted with despair & dashed hopes since then.

The Giants have a lot of talent on this team -- both vets & rookies -- but it has yet to jell the way the World Series teams of the 2010's did.
