This car was parked with several others staging "Alberta Sovereignty Protest." I took a photo of another license plate but my phone didn't seem to catch it.
Because fighting #secessionists wasn't something I expected to do in my old age, I got caught. Two "protesters" followed me into a store and harassed me until the owner threw them out.
Anyone here from #Alberta, I beg you, put this ON BLAST.
I just wanted to enjoy two slices of pepperoni pizza at the food court, but four old white guys were bitching about "#FirstNations" this or "#Indigenous" that (yes, at a PUBLIC food court). If they weren't #Alberta #Separatists, I will deep fry a #tortilla into the shape of a hat and eat it.

The maddening fact is, #Fascists are EVERYWHERE and ignoring them HELPS them.
People complain about #SovereignCitizens, but you know what, they bother me a lot less than state level #secessionists. Sovereign citizens have issues with logistics and universalizability, but at the end of the day they just want to be left alone, and they're going it alone when they do that, so I can respect it.
People who talk about state level #secession are talking about dragging everyone else around them through the logistical nightmare, one which they fail to even seem to recognize, of decoupling from a massive country without devolving into a third world country, especially since a lot of these states are heavily reliant on the federal government.
That's even before the fact that the last time people got those states to secede they murdered a bunch of people, set up dictatorships, and started a crazy war.
At least a #SovereignCitizen's decisions don't reach far beyond themselves.
Extremism in the United States and Trumpian ideology of extremism is driving more and more individuals within the powers of government to reference secession as an option. There is a rise in Dis-Unionism. Disunionism is the political position that the Union (the federal government of the United States) should be dissolved and the states and counties should be split into seperate countries based on ideology.
