Fellow paddlers, has anyone ever had the fabric feet/socks of a drysuit cut down or replaced with smaller ones? The socks on my Typhoon Multisport are massive, forcing me to wear larger booties than necessary and leaving uncomfortable folds of material. I”m considering a new, sleek sea kayak whose confort would be improved by me having smaller booties.

I have a place on a sea kayak incident management course booked for next week, 4-5 September.
It’s led by Jeff Allen, renowned kayak instructor, and taking place in West Cork. And it looks like I can’t make it.
