It's going back to the #scroungers rhetoric*, the idea of the #UndeservingPoor who are too lazy to work. It's appealing to Daily Mail readers who believe in the myth that the unemployed are all fat, feckless, and frittering away taxpayers' money. It's fat-shaming and totally, utterly pointless (for the reasons listed above, among others). 🤬🤬🤬
