Let’s hope this weather continues just a little longer.

Sam and I went to the Three Brethren today as it was sunny and it lets the mind wander away from the stresses both here and abroad. Although the walk was harder for one of us! #GSD #GermanShepherd #DogsOfMastodon #DogsOfPixelfed #ScottishBorders

A lovely run this morning - only 8k, tracks, but it is the curse of good weather - just when you have to knuckle down for some writing

Linton Kirk, one of Scotland’s oldest churches still in use in the Scottish Borders is surplus to Church of Scotland requirements and a local group are attempting to raise the money to buy it foe the community.

Daffodils, The Haining. (2026.03.19)
The Haining is one of Selkirk's greatest assets, a 'country estate' five minutes walk from the town centre, bequeathed on the former owner's death in trust for ‘the benefit of the community of Selkirkshire and the wider public'.
If you do not go round at least once a week, you'll miss something changing; there are lots of clumps of daffodils appearing in the grounds, but only some of them (yet) are in bloom.

Greenlaw Town Hall, in the heart of Greenlaw in the Scottish Borders. Built between 1829 and 1831, it has been beautifully restored after years of dereliction but has again fallen on hard times. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/greenlaw/greenlaw/index.html
