I've been working on some new sci-fi terrain again :)
Pictured 1st is the main structure (which is close to being finalised), and in the 2nd picture you can see my initial prototype (which shows how I'm planning on adding doors, windows, and various greebles*).
*the design of which is probably going to take a while 😅
Like the fantasy cottages I made a while back, the basic building block is a 2" cube - which allows them to be assembled in various shapes and sizes.
With the YouTube channel approaching 25K subscribers, I've been getting a few things ready for a celebratory video :)
One of these things is getting the modifications & requests pdf back online, and adding a few pages of new-ish textures to the file!
Right now, the subscriber count is 24,966 - so, with any luck, it might hit 25,000 in the next week or two :)

ToweroftheArchmage AntifascistAnd here it is with the wash, looking suitably grimy, next to one of my earlier #TrashBash terrain items. The color isn't an exact match, but it's in the ball park. For future prints I might ask for a black or grey filament, rather than white. For the other 3 I had printed I'll probably prime them black before painting them.

Oh course I had to try painting one. I picked the smallest, and tried out the paint pens I got at Christmas. All in all? Not bad! And after I hit it with a dirty wash it looked even better.

Played #RangersOfShadowDeep with 3 colleagues, which was fun but a bit easy because we're playing the game bent (I had my Boris Johnson sidekick lure a troll across the table while others shot at it, for example). All in all a fun sesh.
Today I discovered that if you put the grater to cork trivet sides you get good cheap basing material.
